best plase to get large tank?

Here is what I am looking for.

Acrylic or glass tank ( Starphire low iron glass all sides)
96x24x25
or
96x24x31

I can’t make up my mind if I should go with acrylic or glass

What dos every one think and where should I get it ?
is there a plase here in Mn?

Glass – easy to clean ,harder to scratch , but heave , harder to drill holes later if needed
( unless you the right two guys to do it for you )

Acrylic – easy to drill , clearer ,and lighter .But easier to scratch and harder to keep sides clean

the 31" will give the tank better proportions, but it will be very difficult to clean IMO.

Starfire glass is actually clearer than acrylic.

do not build a 31" tall tank unless you have monkey arms, or you enjoy having corraline algae cover the bottom several inches of your tank. This advice is coming from someone who has had a 31" 220g aga. If you are building it custom, and are looking for the extra water volume you should consider making it wider instead of taller.

Unless your having it built on-site, I wouldn't want to try to move a glass tank that size.
