Attacked By Squirrel

fish....Was working on the skimmer last night in the lobster tank and my nice, mellow, meak squirrel fish NAILED me. I could see him come up along the inside of the tank, not knowing what was coming. It was shaking like a shark with my thumb nuckle in its grips. SOB scared the crap out of me and it hurt like hell. My thumb swelled up for an hour or two. I may not feed him today....

ouch

Actually 1/2 inch from the bite mark there was blood from a puncture. With my thumb swelling up so fast the poison thing was the first thing I thought of too. Others have seen him in the tank and the poison discussion has been brought up.

well, after living in that tank with that brittle star (that is large enough to eat a small dog) for so long the poor little fish has had to become vicious to survive in the adverse living conditions surrounding it.....fingers aren't just for chili anymore

Dont worry......your more likely to die of mold spores, fungus or asbestos down there.....

I don't think there is any chance bacteria would get into his bloodstream....I mean his arteries have to be completly blocked by now...Hardee's everyday has had to slow the blood flow.

moldy monster burgers mmmmm!!!!

Hey, it takes a long time to cultivate mold spores and other wild bacteria. That is a lot of work during these dry winter times. Helps keep the vermon down to managable levels, the little serpant star can't do everything.. Have a dungeonous reputation to maintain here.
Now there is dangerous biting squirrel fish to contend with.
Also need to know where the nearest Hardee's is between here and Mankato, I need my Monster burger fix. Can't wait for the grease to flow thru my system.
