Anyone heard of....
Blue Strawberry coral? Looks like tenacles with Strawberrys on the end. This specimen happens to be a steal blue color. I am looking for some info on it. I bought it from Har Mar pets on impulse ( I know!) and was told it actually has backbone? Some sort tunicate? Will post pics when I get home... ok quickly I found a pic of it. So what do you think?

Looks like a tunicate to me. Pretty cool creatures IMO.

They had it for 59.99 and I took advantage of their 25% MOnday discount. I guess my biggest question is will it be ok with seahorses? I will probably post on sh.org and see what they think. edit; after a bit of reading I find that it has dismal results of being kept in captivity. I am going to try target feeding DT's and oyster eggs to keep it alive. If anyone has interest I will post results after a few months.

From what I've heard and read it is a coral best left in the ocean, but maybe if you target feed it like you plan to you may have good results.

I've kept tunicates alive for a couple of years (until I moved the tank). Feed lots of phyto and when you think that should be enough, feed a little more.

Mine has about nine stalks, I will post an actual picture later if I get a chance. I will definitely be feeding with lots of Phyto, and oyster eggs. I put it in front of a MJ 400 which kicks on about every 60 seconds so should get nice intermittent flow.
