Anyone else addicted to animals?

I got this Male/Female pair today. It is called a cinicot coloration (cross between a cinnamon and a apricot) They are actually African Pygmy Hedgehogs. The female is a salt and pepper coloration. Something besides for snakes for once.Show us some pics of your unusual pet. I will post a different pet for everyone posted, lets see how long it takes me to run out of different things.

Looks like someone is becoming an animal hoarder. I better not read in the paper about the Blue Earth County sheriff coming to your house to emancipate all your animals Just kidding.

The hedgehog looks really cool. Does he handle well?

I used to have a ton of exotic pets in highschool. In our aparment we have a dog, cat, aquarium and a chinchilla who make very weird noises at night.

Chinchillas are super cool, and they make good glove liners too. LOL As for the sheriff...he is my neighbor and was here last week. Funny you should say that, not a snake fan though. They are friendly and will put their quills down to be very soft and handleable.

Yes I love animals, except my Wife hates them, otherwise I'd have quite a few right now. My favorite animals I have had for pets so far are raccoons, I had a pair, raised them (got them 2 weeks old, they were abandoned ina chimney) and they were soooo gentle and sweet and absolutly fun! That was back in 8th grade..... #1 on my Christmas list this year is a kitten... I'd crap bricks if I actually got one.

Always wanted to hold a hedgehog, they look cool,

-Skip

My fav. was a grey squirel that I found in it's nest when I was about 10 years old. Cutting down trees at a guys farm with my dad and seen the mother run away with a couple babies. Went to look and there was one left. I brought him home. 3" long and no hair yet. Made my mom feed him with an eye dropper at all hours of the night..... He lived for a month and i think my mom let him free somewhere.... she told me he died when I got back from school...... He was so cool though!

Our coons eyes weren't even open yet, we had to bottle feed them, it is really cool raising something up like that.... But my neighbor trapped one and shot it, and the other I didn't see after Winter came

I had the opportunity to raise a baby racoon with a friend. What a clever animal.
