I was a huge fan of blue until I started really looking at some of the fancy tank photos floating around, and I have to agree (I did do mine in black too) that the black is ****ed nice. It will also help hide my black overflow.

It really makes the color pop and tends to drown out the excess blu in the water from the light. Good call on your behalf. Can't wait for your build thread that we should have a seperate forum for

I agree, it looks awesome!

Question on the overflow. Is there a downside to doing it the way you have it? It's so clean looking and of course smaller, compared to the overflow boxes that I've seen in most tanks.

I like it a lot although instead of surface skimming from a 1 foot + area you are only getting an area as big as the 1 1/2 inch tube but with as much flow and surface disruption as I have I will be fine and should have no yuck on the water surface. I think it is way better for the sheer fact the there is no box and I get more tank that way instead of equipment filler. Thanks for the compliment too by the way. I
