Aged saltwater

I have some saltwater about 40 gal that I mixed up about a month or so. Its in a Rubbermaid barrel with a heater and pump. Is this water still as good as new and how long will it keep?

run an airstone in it and it will keep for a while.

Yeah, should be just fine as long as no algae spores or anything got in it.

Though, I would double check that the alkalinity is still acceptable. I have noticed for whatever reason when I let mixed saltwater sit ( with pump ) for over a week that the alkalinity needs a boost again before using.
