actinic bulbs?

whats the diffrence between the 420nm and the 460nm actinic bulbs? iam running pc lights if that helps. 65 watts

450nm-460nm is a blue bulb. Doesn't really make corals flouresce as much.

420mn is considered to be a true actinic. To the eye looks a bit more purple than blue. Give corals more of a flouresce and especially makes green pop more.

Most people prefer the 420nm true actinic bulb especially for viewing corals when the daylight bulbs are off.
