A Reefer to The East
I usually don't venture out of the TCMAS Forum, but I saw this post and it made me nauseous and angry. Some of you may have read it already, but I wanted to spotlight it.

I just saw this and thought I would do some checking. State Farm to my understanding will pay for all destroyed equipment and any plants....aka corals subject to the deductable. They do not however pay for fish. You can add a personal atricles policy for about $5.00 per $1000 of coverage for your fish. You just need the recipts as proof of value. This is great for you guys who have rare expensive fish. The best advise is to contact your agents, there is just to much money in this hobby not to know what our coverages are. Also some policies will pay for any attached structures...bolt the stand to the floor...lol.. also for those of you who have rare expensive pets, like parrots , check into a policy to cover them. I had my umbrella cockatoo covered.

those kids need to be sent to jail for a couple of years then made to work off the insurance bills and anything that was not covered by the insurance policy. then alot more work for pain and suffering.
this is what happens when parents dont care about what there kids are doing or who there doing it with. if they catch the kids the parents will have to foot the bill on this. and the kids will get away with nothing but a slap on the wrist.

No kidding. Anymore parents don't hold their kids accountable for their actions. I told my kids if they ever were caught destroying someone elses property, the least of their worries would be the police. Parents give rules but don't uphold the punishments, so kids do whatever they please....I am a mean parent...just ask Josh, he has a really nice car that has not been driven since last June...when I say C or better I mean it.
