I assumed that was to act as a refuge for pods etc. and provide extra live food for new corals to ease acclimation while they're in the Q tank. You didn't want people to know about your little secret to success did you?

Why dont you come over to my house and I can show you how to get rid of that bryopsis problem you have! I dont have any of it in my tank Maybe you need to get that phosban reactor going I gave ya or else pick up your water change regimen a little bit! Don't be mad I can't help teasing ya.

His display tank didn't seem to have any hair algae,a little cyano is all. The pic is of his Q / frag tank I believe. The display tank has grown out a ton since the last time I saw it last winter 04/05. It's really impressive.
