75g stand laying around?

I am the proud new owner of a 75g tank. YAY. There is only one problem... I don't have a stand for it yet.

I am toying with the idea of having my uncle build me one, but in the mean time I'd like to use the tank as a transfer tank while I am moving... that means I need a stand, and quick.(by mid-May)

Does anyone have any kind of a stand for a 75g tank that could me "rented" just for about 2.5 months this summer? I don't care if it is just a metal stand, or what it looks like, I just need it to hold up the tank until I get my new place (hopefully in August.) I should have a new stand by then...

thanks

i would prefer to find a stand thats STILL standing around, rather than laying around

anyway, or just fabricate from 8-10 2x4's at 1.80 each and you have a stand that will last you till you move ?

I am with Clyde on this. When I first moved, I just set my spare tank on the floor untill I was finished with the move. I wish you the best of luck, Reef tanks + Moving = no fun at all. If you need help just hollar, I am sure you can get a crowd to help you move.

D. What are the dimensions of your tank? I have a stand that I am not using and would love to get rid of. It was used on my 150 until I built a new stand and canopy. I do not have exact measurements, but it is 48 wide by 24 deep.

I will have to double check with a tape tomorrow but I believe it should be 48X18

It might work

If you are going to the April meeting tonight, look me up and we can talk.

I am on my way out the dor to Cali for a week, I will not be able to make the meeting. The top inside is open, you can see the bottom of the tank from inside the aquarium. All you would have to do is get some 1/2 or 3/4 sheet of plywood (4 ply) to lay across the top. There is a 1x4 on it side around the top perimiter.

Here is a pic of the stand.
