(2) Hamilton 175 W 14K mogul bulbs FS

Used for only 1 day. I wanted to add a little more blue to my tank, but I think I'll just go back to 10K's. I paid $65/each. Selling both bulbs for $90. LMK, thanks.

Let me talk to one of my friends, and I'm sure he'll take them. Just don't want to put words in his mouth.

What's the big difference in appearance and how will things react from 14k to 10k?

Me personally, I wanted a touch more blue, but for me, 14K ended up being too much blue. If your use to the bluer' bulb, this one is probably perfect, but the only bulb I have ever used was a bright, crisp 10K. Granted, the bulb isn't burned in yet, so I wasn't really seeing it's full potential. I sort of bought them on impulse. With a 14K bulb, it's obviously more in the blue spectrum and has less PAR than the 10K. Going with a higher K bulb is really just for aesthetics.
