Your fish room
I stole this idea from reef central, they have a monster thread which is great on this very topic. You all should check it out. Anyway, since we all see each other now and again, I think it would be cool to see everyone's tank rooms/set ups.
So if you want to play along, post some pictures!!!!
The view from the living (I have to be able to view the tank while the old lady thinks I am watching TV with her)
A little closer in, view of the entire room (the wife thought this would make a great dining room, I think it works better as the fish room)
This is where I spend most of my "relaxing" time, although with a 3 year old there's not much time for that.
Left side of tank, that plant loves the reef lighting and humidity in the room. I water the plant like once every 2 months if it's lucky
Right side of the tank (if you have a tank, there needs to be somewhere to oraginize the mess)
Close up of the pictures to the right of the tank (I borrowed these from some of the pics I have seen online, sorry if they are yours, but they are beautiful pictures, I had to frame them)
Finally the stand, lots of crap under there, good thing I have some doors to cover the clutter.

Room looks great. I don't think I would ever come out. My wife already says that all afternoon I stare at my tank and she stares at the back of my head. Your three year old must be much calmer than my 4 year old. My house usually looks like someone poured a truckload of Toys R' Us freight in the floor.

Mine's a mess, as I am sorting out my stacks of articles (I was called to the mat on not being able to locate my Steven Spotte this weekend for 30 minutes... ...and this is the SECOND volume of it I've bought, as I lost the first one in the move here.)
Here is a tease, it is one of the 180 displays just after placing the support PVC rings for the live rock, this was taken about July of 2003 at setup, I had just finished the cabinet base a few days before. I'll edit the post here to add pix and use thumbnails to keep the thread from getting too bandwidth intensive.

Mine is my office, which I rarely get to work in now with my wife having so much homework!
I have my wife to thank for choosing the colors and guiding the style of this room. She's going to be an interior designer, and is working on a degree now.
The dark blue wall color works very well behind the tank - no background needed.
EDIT: yes, it's almost always that clean . And yes, that's a webcam on the desk I'll post a link once I get it going again.

Here are a few of mine:
A shot of both the cube and the 125. Still trying to figure out how best to hide the skimmer and collection bucket. The 125 looks bare because all of the acros and some rock are in the HT:
Here's a side shot from the front living room. The fish room is also the kids play room. My son plays PS2 on his 30" flat panel while I watch the tank.

and here's my RO unit under the kitchen sink:
Older shot of the sump. The current sump has no refugium. I've also added a 36W UV sterilizer.
Pam's is awesome - let's see some pics!

My fish rooms
The main (55 gallon) tank is my living room. That way I can enjoy and visit with them all day long. They also like watching Dr. Phil on TV.
The 25 gallon is in my office upsatirs. It is nice to work form home.!!
So they get to visit on TRT and ARC with me.
Also I have the betta's in th foyer to greet everyone as they come in.

Thanks. That is where I sit as I type this. It was an unfinished room that I just said I needed my own spot in the house. No wives allowed.
Hang my pictures, basketballs, trophies, etc. and no *****ing from anyone.
