Not really interested in the pieces, but did note your id- 'gt6188a' - I'm guessing that was your Ga Tech login id? Brings back memories - I was gt1333b and mojo @ cc.gatech.edu.... wow, it's been a while...

I don't want to insult you but people in this forum usually give xenia away. It will probably be a tough sell here. I'm not saying that you are asking an unfair price, just that its a saturated market....I have given xenia to at least 10~15 people. One avenue you might want to check out would be selling @ a LFS.

Good Luck,
Jim

jimbeau if you are ever trying to rid of any Xenia. Let me know. I only have 1 tiny stalk so far. LFS ask way to much for it. So I have not got any yet.

The incredible expanding xenia colony...LOL

Washowi:

Be careful what you ask for; you just might get it...LOL! I got some from Jimbeau about 3 mo. ago, and that stuff grows like a weed! I've even given some away myself!

When you get to the point where its taking over your tank, you may want to take it to an LFS for store credit. You probably won't get much, but its better than nothing.

Though the market may be saturated for garden-varitey Xenia, I think there would be a market for some of the more rare kinds of xenia, like white short-stalked "pom-pom" (?) or blue xenia; just a thought.

This is something I did not consider, I can't tell from the pic but if it is pompom then someone may want it.....
Jim

Washowi, give me a week or two and I will get you a frag ready...

Hi, mojo

I graduated GT in 2000 (Aerospace-masters and 3 years ph,d).

I had a baby and couldn't finish my ph,d.

Nice talk to you.

Hi, jimbeau

I know everybody tries to trim the Xenia but have 10 lbs live rock with it.

Anyway, I will go to CBA and get a store credit from bobby if nobody wants to buy it.

Thank you. Louis

Xenia -$70 Green Star polys - $40

Louis,

Thanks for the GSP's. It's a huge piece!

Btw, the Xenia is Pink Pom Pom and is almost a foot wide! It looks awesome too - just don't have the extra money right now.
