I have an anemone. Not sure what kind it is. It was sold to me as a BTA, but its blue. Its been in my tank for about a month or so now. Doing fine but it does love to wonder. Its been attached to the glass of my tank and the sand and about 5 different rocks. If you want it Its right at the top of a rock right now. You cant rip them off so the rock would have to come too. Anemone is about 5in expanded. Clowns do host in it. Ill grab a pic of it if you want. Im asking 50 (what I paid and this inclues the rock). I may could do something in the clam department too. I have a 1st grade Crocea, Derasa, and a Gold tear drop maxima. All about 3.5-4in.

I have a Rose BTA for sale. It's about 8 inches when fully open. It's a clone from the other one in my tank that reaches 10 inches. Price would depend on the size of the rock that comes out with it. $50 plus the rock!

Although it's a good sign that the anemones are holding so tightly to their respect rocks in your tanks, have either of you tried aiming a powerhead directly at the anemone's pedal?
I have heard of people having marginal success w/ blowing the anemone in that fashion to get it to come loose.
Just a thought.

I know prolly shouldnt post this cuz someone will have something to say, but......just peel it off slowly, use a credit card corner to start it and it should begin to loosen the foot, but by no means should you pull it off, you will inflict injury. But if you dont feel safe doing this, dont. I've moved mine from three tanks, each by slowly flicking up part of the foot and have had no issues and the anemone attached right away to a new rock and opened fully within 15 minutes. And by no means am i responsible if you try this and it dies, basic rule of thumb, if you dont feel safe doing it, dont.

Cap Bay has a lot of clams right now. They also have quite a few anemones. There is a purple one I would really like to get, but I am not sure I have the space.
