Win a dinner with Walt Smith and Bruce Carlson!
That's right! You can win a private dinner with Walt & Deb Smith and Drs. Bruce Carlson & Marj Awai!
As part of SaltwaterU, we're been able to setup this special event for one lucky winner (and a date) at KYMA restaurant here in Atlanta! Ask the experts any question you want over dinner. Dr. Carlson and his wife Dr. Marj Awai are directors at the Georgia Aquarium, and Walt Smith is very well known in the industry. This is the chance of a lifetime!
So, how do you win? For every $10 of raffle tickets purchased before April 22nd, you get one chance for the dinner for two. If you buy ten $1 tickets or two $5 tickets, or one $10 ticket, or any combination of the tickets. If you buy one hundred $1 tickets or ten $10 tickets, you have 10 equal chances of winning. All the raffle tickets (even if you win the dinner) are still valid at the conference. You must be a conference ticket holder to buy raffle tickets.
Odds not good enough for you? Starting now, there's a silent auction for the same dinner (there will actually be 8 people at the dinner). Bids start at $100 and increasing in increments of $5. Just send in an email to info@saltwateru.com with you bid. The highest bid gets the dinner, and the money will be a donation to SaltwaterU! The latest bid will be on the website and on this TRT forum thread.
So purchase your raffle tickets now for this incredible offer! The bidding starts today, and is currently set at $100.

The Bidding is currently at $100 for the auctioned seats - (dinner for TWO)
Everyone who has purchased raffle tickets thus far - and up until April 22nd will have one chance for every $10 for the other "dinner for two".
This will be a rare experience to have a small audience with such internationally known experts as Walt Smith and Dr Bruce Carlson! Just four couples out for dinner - at a GREAT restaurant (the dinners alone are worth over $100 for two!)

For those of you doing your taxes , please remember that the winner of the silent auction can take a charitable tax deduction for the amount of their bid in excess of the Fair Market Value of your dinner!
I love that fact that SaltWaterU is now charity [i.e., a 501(c)3] !!!
Bob

If you have never had an opportunity to dine at KYMA restaurant (in Buckhead) before - you are in for a treat if you win one of these prizes. Let alone the opportunity for a rare audience with experts Dr Bruce Carlson and Walt Smith!
Don't forget there are TWO ways to win - just purchasing raffle tickets prior to April 22nd puts you in the drawing - one chance for every ten dollars. The other way is to bid (Ebay style) - just send your bid to info@SaltwaterU.com.
GOOD LUCK!

Sounds like a great evening! What is the actual date of the dinner? Is it that Saturday evening May 6th?

I have made reservations at KYMA restaurant in Buckhead for Thursday, May 4th at 7:30 (I need to double check the time - but that date is correct).
Walt was excited to hear that Bruce and Marj are also coming to the dinner!

Don't take it personal. I was thinking of someone more attractive and female.
