That would be a Pink tail Triggerfish LOL (sorry)
The long name is Melichthys vidua, and although it is reef safe It now lives in our 240 fish and rock. ( some sand and water)

This may be a better shot, it's tough holding the camera under water and tracking a target ( I keep yelling sit, but they don't listen)

Triggers are awesome! I wanted a Clown Trigger really badly, but I was told it was not possible to keep it in a reef tank... I'll prob start a new thread... but is it possible to keep triggers in reef tanks?

I have a book by Nichael Scott called Ultimate Reefs Tanks or something like that. Although generally not advisable, due to their predetory nature on both fish and crabs, shrimp, etc. One of the tanks featured a large Clown Trigger. I think the key might be buying one as a juvenile and raising it with the other fish you plan on keeping. Also adding it last to the tank. Although there are plenty of storeis of clowns being fine for years then all the udden going crazy and killing everything int he tank.

Nice pictures, Mafiaman.
Is that a French Angel? Where'd you get it?
Can't wait until I can set up a FOWLR tank. I'd like to get a nice sized French angel, a trigger (although I've always liked the Huma-huma triggers), a Lionfish, maybe a Sohal tang...
Pardon me while I dream.

Yes and it is a large one about the size of 3 mans hands put together.(maybe 4)
I got it from Oceans Treasures at a price that was so cheap I could not resist.
We are trying to resist getting fish that eat snails, The snails do half the work for you.

How big's the tank? How do the triggers get along?
I'd always thought that more than one trigger in a tank would lead to a lot of aggression. But maybe that's just another myth.
