where to find a TDS Meter?

Looking for a TDS Meter. any Local stores carry them? I know E-bay has them but I was going to try local first.

Might try calling around to some of the bigger stores like TFS&M, Marine Fish, Aquarium Showcase. If you strike out locally Premium Aquatics has them and you can get it in two days with regular ground shipping.

there's a company on ebay that sells them and also sells ro/di units. They have a group buy on there too where you can get like 5 of them for under 100 or something. Check it out and maybe make a post. I'd be in for one if you pull it out.

I'm pretty sure I saw one last week at Pets Unlimited. Look in the little display case on the right hand side when you walk in. I'd call first though.

FYI, I checked again at Pets Unlimited. They do NOT have one there.

I bought mine online from premium aquatics. I did absolutely no research, but it seems to do the job. If you go to their website, do a search on "TDS." I bought the "AquaFX" by Hanna for 29.95.

In the meantime, if anyone needs their water tested, please bring your water sample in a clean container to Tuesday's meeting at Marine Fish. I'll need about 2 cups of water to test it.
