Where to buy a fan

OK, who stocks desk or clip on fans this time of year without having to buy online? The fan I was using died, and I need a new one if I want to run my lights for any time longer then 2 hours. I have been to wal mart, target, home depot, lowes. Does anyone know where to get one without having to wait on shipping?

Yeah, the one that died was the last one at big lots on roswell rd when I got it. Maybe I will have to do a fan hunt tomorrow at a few big lots.

I would have never thought of this to be the item I should be keeping a spare on hand of, not I know better.

Millhouse- I found an 8" clip on fan about 5 months ago at Ace Hardware on Peachtree industrial Blvd. I haven't been there lately... I'm not using it so it's yours if it fits your needs - I ended up getting a chiller. BTW - I also have a 2-fan window setup - the idea was to put it in the rear of my canopy, (one fan blowing in, one out) but it was the wrong size. I think it's still collecting dust in the garage if anybody needs it.

What about one or two of those 120mm computer case fans and a relay from radio shack?

Further options...

McMaster (go to page 576, several desktop options at the bottom.) They offer local pickup.

Grainger has an interesting 6" clip fan for $15. Item # 6C507. Also local pickup.

Hth,
Dan
