What's your thoughts on this?

This has to be fake. I don't see any gills, plus it looks like some type of dogs head on a fish's body. Actually the more I look at it it looks like a baboon's head. I know they have teeth like that.

I'm guessing fake. Why would a fish that small have teeth so large?

My father had his left pinky toe bit off by something and the way he decribed it it could have been that thing. Then again my dad has never been to the ocean and has a tendency to excaggerate just a little.

I don't know--he does say he has an in with the mers, so he must be legit...

Just for fun I went through and looked at some of his past auctions--seems that he's found a lot of interesting things on that beach! There's one just like that but with a hominid head (kind of looked like Louis Gossett Jr in "Enemy Mine"

This guy is talented! I want to know how he does this...

He must be using taxidermy processes to stretch the skin over a mold then dry it out - the work is simply amazing.

I don't quite know what to call this artwork (fish moulding?)..

The bad thing is he is stating on his auctions that is is a real fish (but he doesn't say he has muniplulated it) leading people to believe that there is really fish that look like this. It is obviously a scam.
He should market the objects as artwork and get respected as an artist - instead of getting bashed as a scammer.

That's the Saber-Toothed Lion Fish. Thought to be extinct for millions of years.

Good grief! Surely people don't believe such a ploy...

What I don't understand is how he still has 100% feedback and such great reviews!!
