Whats your favorite coral?
Hey all, I thought I would try to start more of a conversation type post. So whats your favorite coral?
Personally I love the fox coral. I think that once they fully adjust to a tank they are just amazing when they open up. Looks wise it has to be the nicest coral in my opinion.
Lately I also really like this brain I got from Cap Bay. It is red around the outside, with a green center/mouth. I love the way it closes in on things to eat. It has colored up amazingly since I have replaced my lights with a 70 W HQI (this is in my 7.6 nano at work).
How about you, whats your favorite coral?

A well developed M. capricornis with multiple tiers. I particulary like the ones that intermingle different color varieties, i.e. intermingled tiers of green and orange M. caps.

Yep, I believe so. Haven't done it myself yet, but I'm going to.

Hmmm...boy this can be a loaded question. I like my clams, but I also like my tort (even though he is a sllllloooooooowwwww grower). I guess it would be easier to list the specisis that I may not have in a tank again. LOL....
And as anti leather as I am turning, FS&M had a green scarposomething or other that was just gorgeous. (I think that is what Porter called it). However I am understanding that it is one of the harder leathers to keep, but absolutly gorgeous.
I would have to add a vote to Capricornis mainly because I have seen the same cap fragged in 3 different tanks in my house. In my tank , it plated dinner plate size pieces. In Lisas, it turned into an encrusting Capricornis with weird tiers. In Justin's it kinda whorled up instead of flattening out .....

It my Tubasrea Micrantha. I think it's is cool that I have to feed it by hand. And the green color is awesome.
