Get him out he is not reefsafe.Maybe trade him to a LFs or sell him to someone that has a fowler tank.

Decide which you want more: the coral or the flame. Both are certainly beautiful...but often incompatible.
Unfortunately, I've had horrible luck with dwarf angels (Centropyge sp.) and all types of coral. It's a gamble some do win, but many (eventually) lose. HTH

I have had no problems at all with my flame angel, maybe I just got lucky. Although I wish it would eat my xenia. Try to sell it to someone looking to rid their tank of xenia.

Flame Angels are reef-safe on a "fish-by-fish" basis; I had a Flame (R.I.P.) that never bothered my Clam or Corals. Even though Flames are reputed to be the most "reef safe" of the Pygmy Angels, they can and do cuase harm to clams and coral.
The only thing that I've heard that will help (short of getting rid of your Flame) is to make sure that it is well-fed. It'll be tough choice either way.
HTH,
Michael

I love both...can get rid of either...they are like my babies. I feed my fish about 4 ml of brine shrimp a day and I only have 3 chromis (~2 in), a clown (~2in), a wrass (~2.5 in), and an angels (~4 in)...Is that enough?

Unless enriched, brine is not sufficient nutritionally for most fish. This can lead them to look for alternative sources of food - ie your coral or other desired inverts. Angels like some algae and sponges in their diet as well, which is why they will often graze throughout the day on your LR. If you can, try to get a frozen food that is designed for pygmy angels, or look into enriching your brine (Selcon is my personal favorite).
With that being said, I fed my pygmy angels a variety of foods specifically designed for their diet, and all still found my corals too tempting. But, if you're willing to not keep the species your angel considers appetizing, it may work (the problem is trial-and-error and consistency of the fish). HTH

You may just try to trade him for another flame angel. As Michael said they don't all eat corals so maybe you'll have different results with a different one. I had one that behaved well in a reef environment.

Where do poeple buy their nutritionally sufficent food? Most of the frozen food I come accross is very low in protein or other nutrients. I have trouble getting the fish to eat flakes or pellets. Thanks
