A big thanks to everyone who made this possible.
The BOD listened to many requests from members for and against this move. We had a very lengthly discussion at our meeting on this subject. The final conclussion was that this would be the best avenue for our official club forum.
I'm glad to see everyone posting in it allready and am confidant that this ARC forum will quickly become as popular as in the past.
And hey on my extra slow connection I can even deal with the speed.
Charles

Billy --- We do understand this will not make everyone happy. We also understand that no matter what avenue we took not everyone would be happy.
We did feel this would solve some of the major problems we had in the past. Also many members were already members of TRT (including yourself) so the transition would be the easiest.
This may not have been your choice but our past forum had become unacceptable to most members and something had to be done. We did discuss and vote on all available options.
The BOD meeting was announced to the members and was an open meeting for any member to attend yet only 3 non BOD members chose to attend. All 3 non BOD members were very vocal in the meeting and shared there ideas in every discussion we had. SOme of those ideas changed the view point (vote) of the BOD and some of those ideas will be implemented in the future.
Charles
P.S. Everyone keep in mind that all adventures in life are a give and take.

Thank you TRT.

Good luck in your new home and thanks for the time you spent at RC!
Brooke, Doug and the other people who run this site are a class act, so I am sure you will enjoy it here.
Again, good luck, and don't be afraid to come back to visit

BrianD --- That was a very nice sendoff -- I know some of us appreciate knowing there are no hard feelings.
I am sure many of our members will be cruising both boards as they have always done. There is volumes and volumes of information at RC and I know it has helped countless number of reefers in building there small piece of the ocean (including myself).
Thanks for the wonderfull sendoff.
Charles
