Want to see a busted 450G

My 450 came in this week and I originally though only the cross braces were busted which is easy to fix. Well the issue was a little bigger then I originally thought. It has a pretty significant crack on the left side bottom near the front.

The braces were all kinds of busted!

The pallet was all kinds of messed up!

I've emailed all the pics and stuff to Aquarium Obsessed and am waiting on next steps! Man does this suck!

Ouch - I feel your pain on that one. I hope the manufacturer or the shipping company will cover all costs, but you're still out of a tank for a while...

I am sorry that your tank was damaged during shipping, especially since you ordered it in Jan. But at least you I have to agree that it's better to learn than to have some discreet crack that appears when it's in place and filled with water.

Well as I figured AO is taking care of it. Great people and one of the reasons I went with them!

Here is what they sent me after I sent them the above pics.

"Keith
Boy what a mess. It looks like they used short forks and
the tank slide off. Send me the claim number and I will
get on the shipping compamy right away. We will order you
new glass and start on a tank for you as soon as we can.
Sorry about this.

John"

Sorry about the bad luck. One positive is now you have a size and weight accurate "practice dummy" you can practice moving into your house.

What a disappointment that must be.

Glad to hear it is being taken care of.
