Walt Smith's Fiji Gold...

Must be karma--the only item I actually paid for yesterday (besides an unconscionable quantity of raffle tickets) was a jar of Walt Smith's Fiji Gold--AND I LEFT IT BEHIND!!!

Did anyone find an extra jar of it laying around by any chance? Please let me know!

Thanks,
--Jesse

If no one comes up with your lost can of Fiji gold you can come by CBA an pick up a replacement can ........Im sure Walt would want it that way .
PS ,I have been using the Fiji Gold for the past couple days and so far I think Walt might be on to something with this product. I have seen some changes in certain corals after using it.......The corals do react to its usage. I would be interested it some other hobbyists reporting back with their results.
Good luck .

I tried it (somehow I bought one and brought home two....sorry Jesse - I might have yours). In one dose I noticed more extension on all my corals. I will let you know. I am glad CBA will have it. Are you going to carry the mud also?

HMM, maybe there is something to this stuff. I hear CBA is carrying it, and it makes it seem like I need another trip up yonder this month.

I just started mine. Did you put it in the tank or the sump? Cause this stuff is grey!

Either one - I put it in the sump. It will cloud your tank for an hour, and you might have to dust the corals afterward.

OK, two for two.

I put it in my 155 at home yesterday, and noticed significant polyp extension.

I put it in my 400 at work this morning, and noticed the exact same thing (except that of course it took almost 4x as much - so much for Jesse's can!!)

This looks promising. Lets see if the results hold up, but I am going to keep using it -

Jeff (or Bobbie and Deb) are you going to carry it on a regular basis? How about the other retailers in town?

Jeff--
Thanks so much for the Fiji Gold!!! I stopped by the store today and picked up a jar. Your tank in the front is looking incredible, by the way--have you noticed any change since you started using the stuff? The pocillipora looks especially fuzzy!

BTW, that 1000lbs of liverock you all just got in really stinks! The water in the curing tanks looks almost black! Looks like some good stuff, man--I saw all kinds of life in there.
