UV Glass

Where can I get a new piece of glass for my retro? I need like a 4x2 piece of glass, I can bring what I have now for them to cut the same size.

Thanks,
David

Try starting at a framing shop. UV glass is good for painting and photo framing, too. They can certainly cut it as well.

Sorry to jump in on the thread, but why does it need to be tempered?

Tempered is stronger, this is why it is used almost exclusively by tank manufacturers on tanks larger than 40G these days. I've had non-tempered glass break due to heat stress when I've used it as splash shields on mogul 250W + 400W pendents.
