two morays?

I think I've gone moray crazy. After years of resisting their alure I bought a small snow flake moray (Echidna nebulosa) from Jenn. And I'm in love with it. Now I want a cheetah (or peppered) moray (sideria picta) that she has for sale. Can I keep the two of them together in a 75 gallon reef tank or am I just asking for trouble.

Cheers...Michael

I dont know anything about a cheetah moray, like how big or agressive htey get, but i've known a few people who kept 2 snowflakes in a 75+ gallon tank

From what I can tell, it's one of the smaller (under 3') moaray's and its fairly passive, for a moray, that is. I'm not worried about either moray with any of the fish I already have in the tank.

I'm worried that they may not play nicely together and since the snowflake is only about half the size of the cheetah (or peppered) moray that it wouldn't fare well if there was a scrap between them.

Cheers...Michael

I know there's a reef-safe moray (I assume the snowflake in discussion), but is it also invertebrate-safe?

I'm guessing no.

I don't know too much about the cheetah, but I used to keep a snowflake and zebra moray together, and they were fine. If you're getting into eels, the zebra moray was one of the coolest I've ever had.
