Hey Steve -- If this is the e-mail I've heard about going around (pics weren't showing up for me), then it's not really true. The creatures are just amazing though...

Good question...my sec'y got them from an e-mail so I assume it is the not so true version. Cool pics though..try it now.

If you check the 2nd link I posted above, you can see a lot more from the same voyage (check the links at the top of that page, "More Creatures" etc). My favorite is this one:

Yes they were discovered back in the late 90's in an expedition where they did some deep water netting. These are the pics frm that expedition.
