Trade car for Tank or Equipment
I just thought I would throw this out here. I have a 1996 Ford Taurus that has a bad transmission I would consider for trade on tank or equipment. The car motor runs fine but the transmission is stuck in overdrive. The car can be driven but only in Overdrive.Wife wants it out of the Garage. It’s a 1996 Ford Taurus GL with 176500 Miles on it. I bought in 1997. The transmission needs to be replaced other than that the car is in good shape for the age. The engine runs very good, starts every time. Here are some of the specifics:
Engine: 3.0 SOHC ( Runs )
Transmission: AX4N Automatic (bad)
Brakes: 4 wheel disc (replaced rotors and pads 3 months ago)
Heater Core: Replaced 6 Months ago
Tires: Good tread
Power steering Pump and ldler pulley: Replaced 1 year ago
PCM (Power control Module): Replaced 6 months ago.
The car is very clean for the age.
I just bought a 36x12x24 tank and I need some equipment for it. All I have is the tank and stand right now. I would like to have 250 watt total Metal halides and vho 36" actinics, pump, sump/refuguim, to get this up and running.
