Well it was a long hard war. The last battle fought tonight. In the end we were victorious and Tokyo was finally liberated from the evil tyrant Killer Crab.
It all started yesterday when his mistress went for a walk in the sand up next to the glass. I immediatly stuck my hand down in and grabed her but she pinched me and startled, I let go. Not being really bright about life she just hunkered down where she landed. I grabbed her a second time and thins time I just flung her out of the tank and across the room. I then put her on death row awaiting a decision from the warden.
Well all that made the Killer Crab really mad so today he went to the top of the reef (first time in a month or so) and proceded to trash about 5 different frags. When I got home and noticed what he had done I decided it was time to fight one final battle (win at all cost).
The lovely prosecutor noticed the crab had wedged himself into a hole in the rock. I immediatly plugged two other entrances to this cave with tinfoil effectivly trapping him in the rock. Now to remove the rock.
I first had to remove about 15 frags off of two large rocks. I then removed two smaller rocks. I then proceded to remove the two larger rocks which still had about 5 frags mounted to each rock. I now had the crab trapped out of water but I allso had over 25 frags out of water.
I removed the crab to a holding cell (on death row) and while the rocks were dry docked I decided to scrub them clean. This took about 45 min so I doused the frags w/ a little water halfway through the process. I then rebuilt the reef. I changed it around a little so I had more frag room and moved 1 1/2 of the 2 smaller rocks into the refugium.
The Warden decided to give both the crabs a life sentance so they now reside at the "SpongeBob Home for Wayward Crabs". Upon dropping them in the little
mantis shrimp had to make an apperance to see if it was food or not. I guess I'll have to send some food in, it's been over a month now w/ only saltwater to drink.
Victory is sweet
