The time has come to start up again - we currently need people interested in working on researching, writing and follow-up on grants. This would probably be most effective working in groups.

Additionally we need people to work on the different agendas - including the Gray's Reef trip; the Teen program; the "regular" program and the kid's camp.

I need back-up support for the website.

Since I am going to try and help with Gray's. Agenda? Are we going with a dive shop form the area? Because they will set the agenda. You tell them the dates and they take you out right?

I may be simplifying it but, Tell me the shop we are using of should I find one? I will set the agenda from that. Also, divers how many? we want 2 days on the reef? 3 or 4 dives a day?

We are going to coordinate through NOAA's Gray's Reef to make it more than just a dive trip. We need to plan on ground transportation (or if people will transport themselves) - coordinate with the Teen trip somewhat; work out lodging; dive boats; timing; etc... How many people - well, I don't know! How many people are interested, not just on this board, but in the SouthEast Region.

We need to think about Grants for not only the dive trip; but for the entire SWU2.

In other words - it is a bit more than getting a bunch of guys together for a little trip. Having it coordinate in a meaningful way with SWU will be the beginning of what we hope to be a great tradition - and learning adventure.

But I am glad you are going to be leading this charge - We will have a meeting soon.
