If you are coming from the 280 Bypass you go past One Stop and it is ... I believe.. the next traffic light down on the right... across from the old school. Its down in a hole. Literally. The only place you go if you take a right is into that shopping plaza which sits lower then the road. His new store is going to be all the way on the left of the plaza.
I havent stopped in there lately because I just been to busy honestly to travel out there some weekend day and see how its going.
I don't know really anyone that has saltwater tanks around here. I was shocked to see someone in this area even talking on this forum. I don't know of any local clubs or anyone else that really has tanks.
Here is the URL for Armchair. www armchairsafari com You can look under the gazebo link and see the show tanks. They are lovely. The site has been incomplete and like this for along time. *Take out the spaces... Wouldnt let me post a link*
Where in Florida is you're stuff? Are you planning on bringing it up here?

I know where that shopping center is at in the hole. I will try to go by there this weekend to see if its still open or not. I did talk to the guy at One Stop and he told me there are no clubs around here that the nearest one he knows of right now is ARC (Atlanta). I didn't ask him about Dave's though.
All of my stuff (or 99% of it) is in Jacksonville Florida. I grew up here and moved to Florida. Right now, a friend is keeping it for me until my doctors can figure out whats wrong with my back. Until then, its probably staying in Florida and then I will decide whether to stay here (family) or move back to Florida (doctors).

Dave's closed down and is suppose to re-open. I am going to drive by there tonight so I will have a look. I am going out to dinner with some friends in downtown Columbus.
I just got offered a really good deal on a piece of pulsing xenia in J-Ville. I just dont know if I want to take the trip all the way down there and back. Thats a bit far for my liking. I like to take day trips for corals. Not overnighters...
Ill tell you my findings when I get back from dinner.

I checked Dave's tonight on my way to dinner and so far they still look closed. I prolly wont have a chance to go see him this weekend because of my family being up from Florida but I will try to see if I can't get out there on the weekend sometimes soon and catch him to get an update. I didnt see anywhere on the door either when they said they would be opening.
Oh, the offer to pick up the coral is SO tempting. I might have you pick it up. Its a huge piece for a really good price. I kind wish you're tank was up here so we could go halves on it.

I can talk to you about it. I don't mind picking it up for you. I know most, if not all, of the members or NFMAS. Maybe not personally and some only by face but I know most of them. I have been thinking about setting my 12G nano back up because its small, will fit where I am, and won't be terribly expensive to set up. Xenia might be an option to start it with, they are easy to keep and multiply like crazy.

I can't pm you back. This forum has a block on most everything that you do till you're count gets up over a certain number.
I don't know his name. Just got his number. We were txting and he made me a nice offer. 9inch piece for $55 bucks or smaller pieces for $5 bucks each.
I think you should set up ur nano. Being from Florida and not near an ocean kills me. My tank is like a lil piece of the sunshine state with me up here. Just remember getting stuff for it can be very hard.
Lastly, I am semi-new to the whole reef side of the saltwater aspect and don't seem to have the best of luck. Having LFS that will try to sell you the farm in order to make money doesnt help either. That and there are a million things everyone tells you. Oh you should do this, no that, no this here.. it tends to make you a lil crazy. I gotta fix a few things with my tank before I go adding anything to it. But, I hope the offer still stands if I change my mind about you picking me up something down there.

Maybe some day when I am out and about and you are going to be at home I would love to stop by and see it. I have noticed that there isn't a lot of selection around here as far as livestock.
The offer to bring something back is open. As long as I am making a trip, I don't mind at all.
The nano is something I have to think about some more. I have to have back surgery soon (will find out Dec 19th) and that will determine a lot of what I do. I have 2 clownfish in a 10 gallon tank there that I could bring back, some zoas, mushrooms, and a few other things. But, I didn't have a lot of luck with it the last time I set it up because the filtration on a 12G Eclipse is basically junk. I have a small skimmer for it, and a 150W MH Fixture. I just have to get where my back and money will allow me to do what I need to do to it before I set it back up. And not a lot of motivation to set it up and not be able to take care of it while recovering from surgery.
I sent you another PM (even though you can't reply to it) with email address and a few IM user names.

No spaces in it at all and it will go through on yahoo. I just now realized there is a link to both (AIM and Yahoo!) for me on the left side of all my posts.
