Raccoon Butterfly Question

We have a new Raccoon Butterfly fish for our fish only tank and it has little red areas, like bruises, on the back part of its body, like right where the body transitions into the tail. Anyone have any ideas what these are? They are new and not on the fish when we purchased it.

I know that it is not bruises from fighting because it is separated from the other fish. There is no contact between the raccoon and the other fish. The water parameters are great, no ammonia, nitrates less than 5, no nitrites, pH=8.2.

it is due to rough handling i believe. i have lost two raccoons both had red spots on them that gradually got worse. the first one had some small red spots at the corner of his mouth and they got worse and spread. the second had one where you describe yours and also died a few days later. i'm not sure what to recomend, both of mine died and one was in a tank by himself with low stress.
