Question for Seio owners.

I just got 2 Seio 620's for my 29g. While I'm sure there's some flow in there, it's really bothering me that I can't really see it or feel it. Is it supposed to be like this or can I turn it up a notch somehow?

The SEIOs should give you a large area of flow, like a Tunze, instead of a small concentrated area of flow, like a maxi-jet powerhead. In a 29g, you should see your corals waving around nicely

You can adjust the flow of the SEIOs by twisting the outlet nozzle. There are two tubes in the outlet nozzle, one inside of each other, which both have slots cut into them. To adjust the flow of a SEIO, twist the outside tube of the outlet nozzle to enlarge or reduce the size of the slots of the two tubes.

HTH,
Michael

P.S. - If you have caps on the SEIO outlet nozzles, you should take them off and mount your SEIOs "Tunze-Style" to get the most flow out of them

with 2 you should notice them, i have one that cuts out on me, is it that you don't feel any flow, or is it that just a little, you won't feel it a lot, but if directed toward a softy, or lps, you can see it dramatically.
you may need to tap the turbine with something to get it spinning.

In a tank your size you should see the effects of the flow. Sometimes they are hard to start. If you know the slots are lined up for max intake, try restarting several times. If that does not work bang on it.

When I fist got mine I had this big idea that they were going to just blow water like crazy. The beauty of them is they do, just so wide it doesnt feel like it.
