Question about Frogspawn Splitting

Today at work, my 2 headed frogspawn is splitting, but both heads are splitting at once. Is this normal that multiple heads would split at once? Was a real nice suprise, buth heads also have a few buds on each too.

coincidental. soon enough, some of the coenenchyme near the junction with the skeleton will begin to sprout little mini branches that will grow into new heads altogether. Watch the old skeleton, as it ages, it will become more and more brittle due to both dissolution (MOST OF IT IS DEAD) and Ostreobium spp. of algae, so you may find with age that the entire colony breaks off at the attachment point to the LR.
