Precision Clarity?
A friend asked me about this tank-building company since they are apparently in our area. Does anyone know anything about them? I am rather in the dark.
Thanks,
Kayla

They have stuff on ebay all the time. You can get a little of a feel for things by reading their feedback there. I don't know of anyone myself that has made a purchase.

They built the tanks for ocean treasures (the store in loganville) I think. I would recomend them either.

Sounds like it's a good thing I asked here before giving him any advice. Thanks for your opinions.

Wow! Thanks for the warning, folks. I too had wondered about them.
Are there any reasonable options for large acrylic tanks nearby? (Besides glasscages.)
After I finally get the 75 online this week, I'll be starting the planning on the big honker. I'm thinking something along the lines of a 300 tall would do the trick. Already know what lighting it would get. A pair of 8 tube tek t5's, baybee!
Cheers!
Dan

ANdy at Myreefcreations makes arylic tanks...he uses top quality stuff, so the price may be a tad higher than others who use lesser materials.....i guess you get what you pay for...

Ive dealt with them and ordered a 190 cube and a 960 cube for one of my clients. The 960 came in about a month late and the lids never made it into my hands. Havent talked to him since I built the lids myself, after spending $10,000 we were hoping for better service but at least the tanks look good.

Precision Clarity
Wow another group of dissatisfied customers.

If he keeps changing store names and continues to sell on EBAY without fulfilling orders then I think the attorney general should get involved.
Seems like a aquacon.com case. What's up with this?

I cannot recommend them either. I've seen some of his work and they've all had poorly designed overflow boxes, very poor seams as well. I also know of one tank with a complete seam failure that I had to clean up.

i just heard that this guy is the same guy who ran/owned Star Aquariums. I also heard from another tank builder that he uses undersized acrylic to keep costs low.
the website is rather nice and impressive for someone who acts liket his but i would definately stay away.
