Ditto...I worry when I go to work every day (unfortunately)...so many places for something to go wrong. Last time we went away, a connection on my RO/DI came loose (have no idea how) and I had about 20 gals of RO/DI water on my floor...
That would never happen if I was home...lol! I have a friend that can feed and stuff, but if I go he only comes over about every other day so there is always a chance of a problem...I hate to worry, but there is no drain in my floor so when it gets wet, it gets WET!

I voted over a month. Here is why http://www.biomatixsystems.com/index.htm I will be geting one once the tank is dialed in. It will montior and control everything right down to the valves for my auto WC set up. Everything is also able to be controlled manually and be adjusted. Price is of course an issue in how long it wil take to get the full set up!

i am comfy with about 3 weeks to a month. my tank is all auto top off etc...the tank can go one month safely with out a h2o change. coralline would be rediculous though. fish are all pickers and can find their own food.
so as long as nothing crazy happens like a major power outtage then it would be fine.
by the way, my system is up for sale. if you want a stable tank check out the thread "getting out of hobby".
thanks!

after looking at the polls more...i cant believe that so many are tied to their tank like a ball and chain. most people only say 2 days max!!!
i guess if its a nano or closed system i can understand but i could never live like that though....thats why i spent so much time planning it out.
