OT: Cookies on Computer

Hey all over the past couple of hours I have been attempting to log into hotmail and it keeps telling me that the cookies are disabled on my browser. I went to the MS web page but what they told me to do didn't work. I've also noticed that I have to keep on typing usernames in now instead of having it up...the way it was earlier on today. Any ideas? Thanks!!

i think to change it back go to tools then internet options, enable cookies.
somehow they may have been erased or the history as well. if you have an anti-virus that auto-detects and updates then that could cause the minor wipe out youre noticing.
it happens to my computers as well from time to time. but i ahve never experienced any adverse effects from this.
maybe a real computer person could help more than me though.
