Sweet! I'm thinking of upgrading to the 90 as well, but it'll be awhile. Keep us posted!

Just curious on why you decided to upgrade. That is, 75->90 isn't that big of a difference in volume. Just wanted a new tank? Dimensions better?

chris, your correct, it is alot to go through for such a little difference.
i have alot of live rock and my 75, it is packed full....so, i was looking for more room for the grow out of corals without taking up much more room in my 800 S.F. apt.
i concidered a 120 & 125 but wasn't sure if it would be safe, being on the 2nd floor. so i decided on a 90, knowing it wasn't alot more weight than the 75
does anyone have some scrap acrylic peices so i can try my hand at acrylic befor i start building a custom sump-fuge

Hey that is the same 90 I got from CBA. They run nice and you will notice the size difference when you go to place your live rock.

I like my 90 alot...I started out with a 55 then upgraded. I like a 4' tank because it dosn't take up alot of wall space and is deep enough for a tang or two to have plenty of room to swim. Only bad thing I can see is that it is pretty deep and if you have short arms you can't reach the bottom unless the stand is about 30" high.

well, i sold my old tank today...
AND IT SURE IS QUIET IN HERE NOW !
wow what a difference... needless to say the place is trashed from all this...
tried to work on the stand some more today but didn't get as much done as i hoped...
by the way I am skinnin' it in 1/2" solid OAK and 1/4" OAK plywood
the doors will be 3/4 solid OAK and 1/4 OAK plywood
the frame was a 2x6 that i ripped in half...should be plenty strong
