Nemo re-inactment?

Well.....My wife and son were dying for a Percula so we snagged a beautiful and healthy little perc from Aviarium. he was happy as could be all night last night.
this morning i awoke and started the daylight cycle. did not see "Nemo" anywhere. No worry, i only looked 2 times for 10 seconds.
i come home and still cant find "Nemo". My wife comes home and decides to feed the fish and see where his hiding hole is.
still no "Nemo".
we do our ritual water change, theres "Nemo" about to go through the Little Giant mdq-3 and become chum.
we quickly stopped the ritual and fished out Nemo to find that he was already dead. He has now made it back to the E.A.C. (East Austrailian Current)via American Standard 1.6GPF porcelain chariot.

Moral of the story.
Be sure that if you buy a perc it is well trained on the difference of a HOT filter like the movie versus 1.25" overflow drains.

If anyone should happen to talk to us and our 5 year old is with us be sure that you only mention he is in the EAC and not the chariot.

Haha...a kid I babysat flushed her betta fish because of that one. No one told her bettas can only live in freshwater .
