They are good grazers. Very common hitch hikers on LR. I have noticed a increase in my numbers lately as well.

im still following the links, posting bits and pieces. oh well nothing exotic. easy to breed. i can vouch for the comment that they are hard to harvest = fatal damage, as I pulled a shell of one already trying to get it off the glass.

We have one of those in our nano here at the office. Those things are super fast.....for a snail!! Do they actually eat algae? I ask, because I haven't witnessed them eating anything. They're very shy, from what I've noticed.

haha don't worry brad... just wait for them to start multiplying... and now you can't say i dont contribute to the tank... i dindt notice much when i first started seeing them, but i have TONS now and those along with my 4 astrea's keep my tank pretty clean of algae
