My Olympus C-7070 went for a dive


I received an oly underwater housing for my camera for Christmas. Work and home renovation kept me too busy to play with it. But I had a chance tonight to take a few snaps.

Here is the housing I am using:




and here are some pics I took with it. They are simply resized. The darker pics are a result of the camera itself shading the coral from the overhead metal halides. As you can tell, I really like furry Acropora.

Thanks for positive comments!

I'm not sure if the last one is the real Bonsai or not. But I like it nevertheless.

I will try to get a updated full tank shot soon. I have a hard time with them since I'm using an Aquamedic hanging light fixture that creates lots of glare.

Amazing pics! Those are some of the best SPS shots I've ever seen.

With the same fixture, I feel your pain! My only tip is to lower the exposure, but even then it's a challenge.

Thanks again! I'll try lowering the exposure for the full tank shot. I love open topped tanks for the most part. But taking pictures can be challenging with the glare.
