My "new" tank

My 30g tank... everyone is still settling in, and the cloud of southdown is still hovering, but so far so good.

I did my aquascaping friday evening, added inhabitants the next morning, and by sunday my corals had decided life was good. And in the process, I found some tiny bits of xenia still alive after the Great Kalk Disaster! Yay!

Today my corals look vaguely unhappy. The finger leather hasn't come out at all, and the xenia and lemnalia are staying mostly closed. Could it just be they are adjusting to the new lighting? I had only 55 watts over the 20H, and have 4 X 36 over the 30g.

It could be, but in a new tank it could be anything. Leathers aren't neccessarily a good indicator because they will sometimes close up for no apparant reason. Have you tested all the usual water parameters?
