Must See Marine Places in Atlanta
I may have some time on Friday, Jan. 2nd to visit some local stores and I was hoping for some recommendations. My family has a Hiram mailing address, so places in the general area would be the most appreciated. Thanks a lot!

I was hoping for something more specific. I am familiar with your club's website. That is how I knew your club had a forum here. I am really interested in anything that would be considered a must see. Any place that would definitely be worthwhile for me to haul my camera down for.

Ditto what wasabi said. Cappucino Bay's coral tanks are look downs lit by 1000w MH. They usually have corals that other stores don't have. Fish Store & More has a nice giant (600?) hex. The display tank in Aquarium Showcase is pretty nice. I'm not sure what you're used to seeing so maybe you won't be impressed.

I think I was at The Fish Store and More previously. I saw a nice shop in Buckhead the last time I was in town. They had a lot of very nice display tanks scattered throughout the store. Very impressive! Anthoyn Calfo told me to make sure I find a young gentleman that works there that speaks Latin. He was described as a walking encyclopedia, so that place is high up on my visit list.
The coffee shop/fish store sounds very intriguing. When I was in Atlanta last and had some free time Joe Ranney recommended it to me, but it was still in the construction phase.
Thanks for the help!

Anthony thoroughly enjoyed talking to Porter at the FS&M and has mentioned him several times...can't get much higher praise than that!

Just looking to get an update. I am going to the Aquarium tomorrow and will probably stop in at Cappuccino Bay. Is there anything else I should make sure to visit?
