Lots of small containers. You'll move alot faster and with alot less muscle pulls. And an igloo cooler for the livestock.

If you've got sand, bring a colander (plastic or steel) so you can quickly gather your sifters and separate them from the sand. Unless you don't mind a few losses from getting pinned under rock.

The cooling is important, but I forgot that once you're back inside with the AC (and while you're taking the tank down), the water will cool too much as well. I should have gotten an extra heater to put with the livestock while I put the tank back together.

I used 5 gal buckets and for all the water I used 22 gal rubbermade containers. I dont know how the roads are there but I did not loose or spill any water. The move I made as also only 10 mins away and I had no problem with any of the rock, corals, and fish. After I set the tank up again it only took several days for the tank to start to get back to normal. But when I moved the tank it was the only thing I moved and set up. after the tank was set up then I went back to moving the rest of the house and unpacking. This way I did ot need to worry about ice, air and every thing just sitting there.
