Looking for plumbing parts

Hello all, hope everyone had a great X-mas.

I got a Dolphin Aqua Sea Flow Master 7500 pump - it's pretty big!

Well, the one thing that didn't hit me at first is, it needs big plumbing parts. :-)

Anyone know where I can find 2" and 1.5" flex tubing? In the past I've used KAF-FLEX tubing but can't find this in those sizes so I may need to settle for regular PVC and use some 90 and 45 degree elbows, but wanted to see if anyone else has used anything this size?

Also, on the return I'm going to use a Dolphin manifold 2" in - 8 3/4" out. Well, I've got a bunch of 1" of the flex tubing I like, would I have a problem converting the 3/4" to 1" and using it?

thanks!

Chris

You might try HD, Lowes or a swimming pool supply place for the flex tubing.

As far asconverting 3/4" to 1", thats easy, just get a NPT 3/4" to Barb 1" fitting, Lowes or HD should have them.

If you strike out locally, US Plastics (www.usplastics.com) has EVERYTHING!

The Home Depot near me (Sydney Marcus) has what they call 'spa tubing' which is basically extra-rigid flex tubing. I'm using it for the drain to my sump. Works great!

Supposedly it also fits standard PVC fittings so you *could* just glue it right onto your regular PVC pipe plumbing (but I'm not so don't take my word for it).
