you know bob, just because its you, I'll post it here
looking for some kind of external pump that will be a lil more reliable on not leaking unlike a MAG. Looking around 400-500pgh. Anyone have anything or know of a great pump that wont break the bank. Thanks.

and yes I know they are good pumps, I've had a few of them by now, I'm using a brand new MAG3 and it;s leaking from the cover a lil bit, these pumps are perfect for in water use, but dry I just dont think they hold up that well, cuz we all know if we tighten the screws just a hair too much

Just picked up an Oceanrunner OR2500 from Sam at Aquabuys today... It can be run in or out of the sump... It's rated at 2400 L/hr, to lazy to look up the gal/hr for you, but I think it's 650 ish... Sam has run these in a personal system of his and he told me you can't even hear them running... One of the best things is it only pulls 38 watts of power, the mag 7 pulls 70W!!! This means lower electric bill and a much cooler tank!!! Sam sells them for ~$65, the same as a Mag7... I'm still acclimating everything from Pillz's sale right now, so I probably won't put it online until this weekend, but I'm sure I'll be happy with it... The Seio 6200 I picked up from him is incredible!!! I'll definately be buying more of them... They're the poor man's Tunze, I think the controller for them will be out soon...

Thanks Lee for posting it here just for me!
And just to clarify what I wrote earlier: I cannot access the ARC Web site from work due to internet filters installed by my employer.
Thanks Tony for wondering.
