Livestock For Immediate Sale
I have found a home for all the corals. This is the first time I have ever sold frags, and I quickly realized it was not a good idea, since mine were not thriving. They were in a 55g tank I was planning on using as a refugium. I have decided to give them to a friend. If I get back into reefing, he'll give them back to me, if not they're his. There's too much potential for hurt feeling by selling frags that were not thriving, like the two acros. Don't get me wrong, I wasn't trying to pass off dying stuff, I had them under high flow, a 150w MH lighting, but they weren't getting the calcium they needed. As a result the spses were just stagnant, not really growing, just barely surviving. I was worried if anything happened that barely surviving would turn to deteriation. Of course there's a huge story behind why I am getting rid of my livestock, and that will be told in due time. (i have been waiting over 5 months for a display tank, and still none, I put the frags in a month ago, and I cannot cause these animals to endure any longer).
With that said, I purchased over 150 lbs of then very live and full of life rock. Most of it was in my 90g, but that was torn down three months ago to make room for the new tank that never came. All the rock has been sitting in vats of saltwater with good flow, no light to get rid of pest apista and these other pest anemones. I can safely say all are gone now, but without being in an established reef tank for over three months, one can't quantify the amount of bateria on these rocks. Therefore I am selling it as partially cured rock, I think you will have to expect die off when this is put into a tank.
well over 150lbs of liverock (not even going to guess, but overfills a 35gallon rubbermaid tub, and a 30 gallon tub, at least 5 25+ lb pieces = $300
150 lbs of southdown = $40

ok guys, I'm going to part out the LR, but I need another week (maybe two) for some free time to arrange for people to come by. This weekend blew past for me. Right now I've go it half of it under NO lightng in a 55 gallon with a skimmer and calcium reactor. The other half is in the dark with powerheads. I'l let everyone know soon what day I'd like people to come by so we can knock it all out on one day. I have rubble to 2 foot x one foot pieces.
Also, i have a TON of equipment I'm considering selling. If you could imagine the most complete setup on a 120 gallon tank, but without an octopus or neptune controller, that's what I have. 2x400 in a pendant, MyReef CR, MyReef Kalk, PM Bullet, Pinpoint, brand new in the box 50gpd ro/di, seaswirl, pumps, etc. I need to get all this together too and I'm swamped.
