Very nice! I wish my tank looked half that good...
I do question your skimmer choice... is that TurboFlotor going to be enough?

Just a beautiful tank, You've got a salty thumb! After all if a gardener can have a green thumb when they make a beautiful garden, a reefer can have a salty thumb when they make a beaufiful tank! Congratulations! Its magnificent!!

I had a lot of the coral already from a previous tank. I plan to sit back and watch it grow now...while adding a few more pieces along the way, of course.

I got the tank and the framework of the stand from Harley Guy, who got the tank from Andy @ MRC. The rest of the plumbing and carpentry is DIY. We will post more pics of that soon, since it's rather amazing how many holes this tank has!

The Turboflotor Multi is rated up to 250 gallons, and we calculated that my total real water volume (minus the liverock, etc) is around 90 gallons, due to the two 30 gallon sumps. So far it has been a great skimmer, so hopefully it will do the trick in this tank as well.

Thank you! I do consider reefing much like gardening--and even a work of art in some ways as well, just with science and a lot of saltwater mixed in.
Thanks again everyone, and stay tuned...more pics to come.

Very nice! Is that starboard on the bottom? Good choice on pumps too.
Call me an elitist, but a setup that nice really needs a deltec skimmer on it.
Ya know - I'm thinking the indicator wheel on your electric meter never slows down. I'm sure mine doesn't.

Beautiful, Kayla and Josh! Kayla, one day you should add your other tanks with specs and photos so we can see them all together. If you've never seen Kayla's tanks in person, it's a sight to see.
