Tom Wyatt has been kind enough to agree to speak at the Jan meeting. He has offered 3 different topics, so were going to do a poll to see what the memebrs and future members would like to hear him speak on.
The 3 choices are
1) Algaes, nuisance and how to deal with them (He gave this talk about 6 months back and everyone found it very informative)
2) setting up/beginning new aquariums for beginners
3) Ca: "Calcium talk deals with what the chemical oceanography of ocean water is at the surface, then deals with a few analogies that non chemist can understand, then delves into alkalinity and calcium and their relation to reefkeeping. "
Due to time constraints so that Tom can be ready for the talk, the poll will end on Tuesday. Thank you.
