info about "suction cup" macro algae?

I got some on a mushroom rock and just looking for basic info on it. seems like it will grow fast. I assume it is as good as any other macro for out competing bad algae.

i think cup caulerpa is very similar to grape.i am careful with any of it in the main

ok so it is in the same caulerpa family. it is growing fast. one day there is a new branch, the next day the new branch has 3 small new cups on it. looks interesting in the tank though.
